River Mouth Launch

Your kayaks will be ready and waiting for you at the river mouth. Here, you’ll receive safety instructions for a secure take-off.

Scenic Paddle

Navigate the river in your single or double kayak as you venture into the Tamarindo estuary. Explore the narrow canals with your guide as you search for wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for various bird species and watch colorful fish leaping in the water. High up in the mangrove trees, you’ll have the opportunity to spot monkeys and iguanas.

Guided Nature Walk

After paddling for about an hour, you’ll take a break to stroll through the forest with your guide. Gain a deeper understanding of the local flora and fauna, including the iconic Guanacaste trees, Costa Rica’s national tree. Listen to the calls of howler monkeys in the distance, and you might even catch a glimpse of them swinging through the treetops. Be on the lookout for other critters like crabs and butterflies!
